I was confused about a few tax things, but these guides really helped me sort it out. The info were easy to follow and not too overwhelming, so I actually felt like I knew what I was doing.

Canceling ended up being way more of a hassle than I expected. I kind of had a feeling the refund wouldn’t be smooth, and unfortunately I was right. I had to keep following up with support just to get my money back, which was frustrating...

I used CoinTracker while filing my taxes from outside the US, it handled most of my exchange history better than I expected.
The international tax reports were easy enough to send over to my accountant, which was a huge time-saver. I did have to double-check a few numbers, and some of the country-specific settings felt a little limited, but nothing too dramatic.

Support got back to me after about a day and was actually helpful. It’s not perfect, but for dealing with crypto taxes across countries, I was happy with it.

cointracker is fine when everything actually works, but my transaction imports have been all over the place. Some wallets seem to sync whenever they feel like it, a few trades have shown up twice, and others just vanish with no obvious explanation. I end up having to go through everything manually, which kind of makes me wonder what I’m paying for. Support did help a little, but the same problems keep coming back, so it’s hard not to feel like this isn’t really being fixed.

Cointracker is fine overall, but wow, the support is so slow!!! I opened a ticket because I was having an issue with my tax report, and it took days before I got an actual reply!!! The first response also felt generic, like they didn’t really look into it much. When it comes to money and taxes, I really expected faster help!!! It’s not the worst service ever, but it was super frustrating!!!

I was excited to try this, but then realized my smaller exchanges still won’t sync. That was kind of an instant letdown and annoying.

It runs quick and the syncing has been fine for the most part... no major issues so far.

As someone who has way too many wallets at this point, I was surprised how easily this connected to most of them, even a couple I didn’t think would work. It makes checking everything so much easier than bouncing between different apps all day.

I used it for a few DeFi transactions and it was painless. I’m not saying I suddenly understand every little thing, but I didn’t get stuck or feel like I was about to mess everything up, so in my mind that means it works well.

I didn’t realize the renewal was coming up, and then I got charged again before I even noticed. Maybe I missed some small print or maybe they don’t make it super obvious on purpose, I’m not sure. Either way, it was frustrating.

I did have to fix one transfer manually, though the help docs were clear enough that it didn’t take long. If your NFT activity is super complicated, you might still want to double-check everything, but for my situation it saved me a lot of tax-time stress

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the numbers to match closely, especially when taxes are involved. If the gains calculation is off, it’s hard for me to really trust the final report.

CoinTracker does what it’s supposed to do, and the app itself is straightforward. But it’s not even about that for me. The part I couldn’t get past was how much wallet and tax info I had to connect or provide. During setup, I kept wondering what exactly was being stored, who could see it, and how it might be shared. I’d feel a lot better if the privacy controls and explanations were more obvious. I might come back to it later, but right now I don’t fully trust it.
